Arrived with Betty on columbus circle to meet Bas&Hinke, walked through central parc, had lunch on columbus avenue, took the bus to Times Square, then the subway to brooklyn bridge for the view (where they were recording a musicvideo), walked through chinatown to little Italy, to have diner there. Hung out on union square and had drinks on 2nd ave.

After breakfast Bas and Hinke went to the city and I went to BC. We met at Grand Central (okay, outside grand central because they couldn't find it), ate mexican, walked around Times Square and hung the rest of the night at washington square parc listening to music.

(While waiting for them on top of the stairs in the main concourse there was a group of girls below that saw me.. one of them came up to stand next to me to let the others take a picture of her and me... so I made a picture of them in return :P)

Before going to the airport there was still some time to show them my appartement and Coney Island, so that's what we did. Enjoyed the nice weather, drank coffee and had icecream before getting their luggage from my room and head for jfk, where we arrived really on time (which is really practical with the silly organization there). After waving goodbye went to spent a night at home for a change.

Finally some sun! And because i stayed at their hotel, we had the whole day and I could guide them from the start ;-) After breakfast walked uptown to Columbus circle to get some coffee to drink in Central Parc. Walked passed SheepMeadow and the fountain to the John Lennon memorial. Traveled our way downtown from there: Union Square, walked through a closed-for-cars Broadway filled with foodstands, took subway to City Hall, walked halfway Brooklyn Bridge to enjoy the view of Manhattan, relaxed on the ferry to Staten Island (and back), crashed for coffee in the East Village and had some real american pizza slices for diner, concluding with Times Square to buy some souvenirs.
