Did final things from my todo in NY list, like seeing the chinatown mcdonalds, using the elevated tramway to Roosevelt Island, seeing the large piano (played by Tom Hanks in 'Big') at Schwarz, seeing the narrow building on Broadway and 23rd and taking the staten island ferry by night (and take the SIRR to New Dorp).

Today I brought betty to jfk, the last time before I fly myself in 2 weeks.

BC, then took the subway to columbus circle, where betty was waiting for me in the starbucks (by the way, on the way in i almost collided with Adam Sandler, who was walking out). Betty hadn't properly seen ground zero (due to the security last sunday) so we walked around it and strolled down the Battery Parc City promenade to make a stop at a chinese restaurant for diner.

Didn't feel very well today, probably due to lack of sleep. Got a bit better in the afternoon tho, and went with Betty to Yankee stadium without tickets (couldn't buy any cheap ones online or in the yankee stores in manhattan).. Were really happy to be ably to buy 2 tickets from people outside the stadium, so we could enjoy the pleasure of being in a baseballstadium, look at other people, talk, eat...and somewhere in between look at the game for a couple of moments. After the game we went back to Times Square so Betty could see it by night and ate a slice of pizza.

BC, tried to buy yankees tickets for tomorrow but failed, walked through Chelsea, ate mexican and drank margharita's in the west village.

betty met with bas&hinke in city while i stayed home and started to feel sick.. Still went to meet the 3 of them in the late afternoon on washington square. They had diner in greenwich village (bas&betty had great fun with their new handpuppets...) after which we listened to live music on washington square

Went with betty to meet bas and hinke at grand central, took the subway to the world trade center (where there was lots of security because bush was giving a daybefore 9/11 speech), checked out a big outlet store..(large scapino more like it only with fancy brands). Then Bas&Hinke went to Stomp together and Betty and I walked through battery parc, took the staten island ferry and ate thai on st marks place, before having drinks with bas&hinke.
